Denver, Colorado: The premiere edition of the flash fiction journal, Fast Forward, will be released by Fast Forward Press on June 27, 2008, and release parties will be held in both Denver and Boulder.
Flash fiction is one of the most exciting new trends in literature, and Fast Forward is one of the first journals to focus entirely on the genre. Editors K. Scott Forman, Kona Morris, and Nancy Stohlman have featured twenty stories all under 1,000 words, including work from prize-winning flash fiction writer Linh Dinh, Bobbie Louise Hawkins, Barbara Henning, Andrew Wille, and many up-and-coming writers, including six from Denver.
